ന്യൂദല്‍ഹി. വിദേശത്തേക്ക് വിനോദയാത്ര പോകുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാര്‍ക്ക് നേരിയ ആശ്വാസം. വിദേശ ടൂർ പോയി 8,500 ഡോളറിലേറെ (എഴ് ലക്ഷം രൂപ) തുക ചെവഴിക്കുന്ന (overseas spending) ഇന്ത്യന്‍ ടൂറിസ്റ്റുകളില്‍ നിന്ന് 20 ശതമാനം നികുതി ഈടാക്കാനുള്ള തീരുമാനം നടപ്പാക്കുന്നത് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ മൂന്ന് മാസത്തേക്ക് നീട്ടി. നേരത്തെ ജൂലൈ ഒന്നു മുതല്‍ നികുതി ഈടാക്കുമെന്ന് ധനമന്ത്രാലയം അറിയിച്ചിരുന്നു. ബാങ്കുകള്‍ക്ക് ഇതിനുള്ള സൗകര്യമൊരുക്കുന്നതിനാണ് സമയം നീട്ടിയതെന്ന് സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ പ്രസ്താവനയില്‍ വ്യക്തമാക്കി. ഈ വര്‍ഷം ഒക്ടോബര്‍ ഒന്നു മുതല്‍ ഈ വിനോദ സഞ്ചാര നികുതി ഈടാക്കിത്തുടങ്ങും.
ഒരു സാമ്പത്തിക വര്‍ഷം വിദേശ രാജ്യങ്ങളില്‍ ഇന്റര്‍നാഷനല്‍ ഡെബിറ്റ്, ക്രെഡിറ്റ് കാര്‍ഡുകള്‍ മുഖേന ഏഴു ലക്ഷം രൂപയിലേറെ തുക വിദേശത്ത് ചെലവാക്കുന്ന ഇന്ത്യക്കാരില്‍ നിന്നും 20 ശതമാനം നികുതി പിരിക്കാന്‍ മേയിലാണ് കേന്ദ്ര സര്‍ക്കാര്‍ തീരുമാനമെടുത്തത്. കാര്‍ഡ് നെറ്റ്‌വര്‍ക്കുകള്‍ക്കും ബാങ്കുകള്‍ക്കും ഇതിനനുസൃതമായി അവരുടെ ഐടി സംവിധാനങ്ങളില്‍ പരിഷ്‌ക്കരണം നടത്തേണ്ടതുണ്ട്. ഇതിനാണ് മൂന്ന് മാസത്തെ സമയം നീട്ടി നല്‍കിയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇങ്ങനെ ഈടാക്കുന്ന നികുതി ആദായ നികുതി റിട്ടേണ്‍ ഫയല്‍ ചെയ്യുന്ന വേളയില്‍ അര്‍ഹതയ്ക്കനുസരിച്ച് തിരികെ ക്ലെയിം ചെയ്യാവുന്നതാണ്.
