കൊച്ചി: കാത്തിരിപ്പിനൊടുവിൽ സ്കോഡ ഓട്ടോ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ ആദ്യ ചെറു എസ്‌യുവി കൈലാഖ് അവതരിപ്പിച്ചു. കൈലാഖിന്റെ ആഗോളതലത്തിലുള്ള ആദ്യ അവതരമാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ നടന്നത്. 2025 ജനുവരിയിലാണ് കൈലാഖ് നിരത്തിലിറങ്ങുക. രാജ്യത്ത് കൂടുതൽ വിപണി വിപുലീകരണം ലക്ഷ്യമിട്ട് ഈ വർഷം ഫെബ്രുവരിയിലായിരുന്നു ഈ ചെറു എസ്‌യുവിയുടെ ആദ്യ പ്രഖ്യാപനം. ഒക്ടോബറിൽ കൈലാക്കിൻ്റെ പരീക്ഷണ ഓട്ടങ്ങൾ പൂർത്തിയാക്കി. തൊട്ടുപിന്നാലെയാണ് കൈലാഖ് ഇപ്പോൾ ആഗോള വിപണിക്കായി അവതരിപ്പിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്. ഡിസംബർ രണ്ട് മുതൽ ബുക്കിങ് ആരംഭിക്കും. കൈലാഖിന്റെ വില 7,89,000 രൂപ മുതലാണ് ആരംഭിക്കുന്നത്.
ഇന്ത്യയ്ക്കു വേണ്ടി ഇന്ത്യയിൽ രൂപകൽപ്പന ചെയ്ത സ്കോഡയുടെ ആദ്യ എൻട്രി ലെവൽ സബ്-4-മീറ്റർ എസ് യു വിയാണ് കൈലാഖ് എന്ന് സ്കോഡ ഓട്ടോ സിഇഒ ക്ലോസ് സെൽമർ പറഞ്ഞു. “ലോകത്തിലെ മൂന്നാമത്തെ ഏറ്റവും വലിയ കാർ വിപണിയായ ഇന്ത്യ ഞങ്ങളുടെ രാജ്യാന്തര വിപുലീകരണ പദ്ധതിയിൽ വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധ നൽകുന്ന രാജ്യമാണ്. എസ്‌യുവികളാണ് ഇന്ത്യയിൽ ഏറ്റവും കൂടുതൽ വിൽക്കപ്പെടുന്നത്. ജനപ്രിയവും അതിവേഗം വളരുന്നതുമായ ഈ സെഗ്‌മെൻ്റിൽ പുതിയ ഉപഭോക്താക്കളെ ആകർഷിക്കുകയാണ് കൈലാഖിലൂടെ ലക്ഷ്യമിടുന്നത്. കാഴ്ചയിൽ വേറിട്ടു നിൽക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഏറ്റവും പുതിയ കരുത്തുറ്റ ഡിസൈൻ ഭാഷയുടെ ഇന്ത്യയിലെ അരങ്ങേറ്റവും കൈലാഖിലൂടെ നടന്നിരിക്കുന്നു. അടിസ്ഥാന മോഡലിൽ തന്നെ ലഭിക്കുന്ന 25ലേറെ സുരക്ഷാ സംവിധാനങ്ങളുമെല്ലാമാണ് കൈലാഖിന്റെ സവിശേഷത,” അദ്ദേഹം പറഞ്ഞു.

മണിക്കൂറിൽ 100 കിലോമീറ്റർ വേഗമെടുക്കാൻ മാന്വൽ ട്രാൻസ്മിഷനുള്ള കൈലാഖിന് 10.5 സെക്കൻഡുകൾ മാത്രം മതി. മണിക്കൂറിൽ 188 കിലോമീറ്ററാണ് പരമാവധി വേഗം. 6-സ്പീഡ് മാന്വൽ/ 6-സ്പീഡ് ടോർക്ക് കൺവെർട്ടർ ഓട്ടോമാറ്റിക് 1.0 ടിഎസ്ഐ എഞ്ചിൻ 85Kw കരുത്തും 178Nm ടോർക്കും നൽകുന്നു. തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്ത വേരിയന്റുകളിൽ പാഡ്ൽ ഷിഫ്റ്റേഴ്സും ലഭ്യമാണ്. കുഷാക്കിലും സ്ലാവിയയിലുമുള്ള MQB-A0-IN പ്ലാറ്റ്‌ഫോമിലാണ് കൈലാഖും നിർമ്മിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.
